Adaptive quasi-proportional resonant control with parameter estimation for PMSM sensorless control

Conventional sliding mode control (SMO) utilizes a sign function and low-pass filter (LPF) to achieve sensorless of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). However, the introduction generates large number high harmonics, resulting in significant system output chattering, whereas addition LPF delays phase shifts. These degrade PMSM speed position estimation accuracy reduce performance. To improve performance PMSM, adaptive quasi-proportional resonant with parameter (AQPR_PE) is proposed. In this model, an resonance controller used error weaken chattering phenomenon. Meanwhile, parameters are estimated online fed back model robustness accuracy. The Bode diagram, Popov theory, root trajectory analyze stability AQPR, estimation, AQPR_PE, respectively. Finally, effectiveness proposed method demonstrated by experimental validation.
